I used to be one of the biggest fans of CJ but now things are not same and the discussions going around in the forums about CJ seems to be true to me which I never used to believe.

Here is the reason for that. I have been an active publisher with CJ for almost 2 years. In the first year it was OK and I didn't have any complains but a few months back one incident occurred which made me turn to other affiliate networks. I used to promote PowWeb through my website Rocking Webs where I virtually used to provide free web hosting to users by refunding the hosting fees from my commissions.

Few initial sales went OK but then one of the user booked through my site and forwarded the registration mail to me. I verified in CJ that the commission was reflecting but in next couple of days, it went off from reports. I checked with CJ helpdesk, they got back to me after several reminders saying that PowWeb cancelled the commission since the hosting period was for 3 months(It should be 1 year min for commissions). I checked in the registration mail which my website user forwarded and it clearly says that the hosting period is 1 year. I forwarded the same to CJ/PowWeb and waited for their response. There was no response from CJ or PowWeb either. It's been more than a month and my support ticket is lying open till date. CJ admitted that it's a fault on PowWeb side but nothing after that. They didn't take any action against PowWeb nor updated me what's happening. For your information, commission was $95 so I kept following up with them for more than a month but no response.

Then I decided to forget it and move forward, but again in the very next week same indecent took place where my website users purchased a hosting plan, I got the registration mail, commission was reflecting in reports for 2-3 days then vanished. I again took the matter to CJ but waiting till now for any response from them. That's a total $190 I have lost due to bloody mismanagement of CJ. They are here just for helping advertisers even if they are wrong and ignoring publishers like me even though who are right

I advice all affiliates to be very careful with CJ, specially if they are promoting PowWeb. Stay away from both. Now I am promoting Ipower and so far things are OK.

I have had same experiences with Commission Junction. Their support staff is of no use, I am planning to give a try to Google Affiliate Network(previously Performics). Any suggestions ?

There is a cool update on this thread .. CJ guys proved me wrong and reimbursed the commission which I was not given. Some guy from CJ saw my posts in a forum and got in touch with me. I told him the problem and he promised that I'll be given the commissions if I was right.

And see, I have got $95 commission last week from CJ .. almost unbelievable but true

It's never toooo late hence I guess I can now say that "CJ is still the same"
